Almost half a decade back, I would to be called to help in naming the organization, product or service. I hardly had any background in brand related activities. But my service became popular since it evolved into a systematic process of not only naming but fixing the vision, mission and purpose of the organization. I was also able to connect it to the business model of my clients.
Recently, I had to do this exercise for the naming of a new book. I took it for discussion at the Hub of co-crators at http://time2change.co.in and to several others offline. Actually, the content of this book went for rigorous review online at the Hub and I
was asking the members to help out getting the right title.
When we had started coining name of the book, we began with a gut feeling. On the go, we evolved a few basic rules. We led the process to iterate itself. Each iteration was fast and full of learning. And then, we got the final name that fulfilled many needs of not just a
good Title but also a good cover page.
